HEY Y’ALL!

I’m Kristin. This is my digital junk drawer full of half-baked schemes. Over the last decade-plus, to varying degrees of success, I’ve been an investor (@ Lowercarbon), early startup operator (Opentrons YC W16), researcher (MD Anderson), barista, bartender, and heavy metal air guitar player.

During a fairly busy sabbatical last year, I helped Convergent Research run a residency program with the Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) in the UK, after which I became the third member of Convergent’s executive team. You can expect me to share more about what I’m cooking up there soon over on my Substack @ Contents May Shift. Meanwhile I’ll keep spending time with the portfolio + team at Lowercarbon, throwing epic parties that end up in the New York Times, and working on a variety of other super awesome secret side projects which you’ll hear about soon.

Everything else is aspirational, meaning “I’ve got too many open browser tabs and not enough bandwidth.” Some of these ideas might turn into companies. Or books. Or international scandals, if my high school superlatives are to be believed. If one of these sparks something in you, let’s talk! You can also just go do it and let me know how it went so I can pretend I helped.

Geographically, I oscillate between SF, Brooklyn, and London.
Intellectually, I ping-pong between climate-techno-optimism and extremely random special interests.
Emotionally, it’s everything everywhere all at once.

I read a lot (recent favorites here), overshare on the internet (Substack, Twitter), and generally try to make sense of a planet and economy on fire without losing my sense of humor.

Thanks for stopping by. If you want to chat, drop me a line via email: hello at kristin dot earth

xx

PS: This was my dog Clark. I loved him a lot, and had to say goodbye to him in August 2025. I can’t bring myself to take his photo down just yet. He was the best soul that ever lived.
